Julia is a clinically licensed marriage and family therapist with over 11,000 hours of time with clients in her private practice. She has presented nationally and consults for corporations, institutions and not-for-profit organizations. She has been published in Family Therapy Magazine and advocates for equality and advancement in mental healthcare.
In 2020, Julia saw the rapid increase in demand for mental health services and the ultimate systemic failure to meet the need. She immediately began working to resolve the gap in treatment access and availability.
In 2025, Julia copyrighted and trademarked her own therapy method combining aspects of several different treatment models along with her lived experience as a clinician for over a dozen years. Session One, urgent care for mental health, is now available to residents of Kansas and Missouri.
